Exercises of Practicle Life

After the child settle down and the hand eye coordination is sufficiently refined we introduce the child to exercises of practical life material, to develop physical co-ordination, care for our self and the environment. The activities tend to give children a sense of confidence and development.

Sensorial Activities

The sensorial materials provide a range of activities and exercise that develop and refine the child’s senses, intelligence, enhance memory, size, shape, colour, smell, taste, sound and texture.

Language

When the child enters the house of children enrichment of vocabulary starts quantitatively and qualitatively with the help of familiar objects and pictures. Thereafter the child is introduced to phonetic. i.e., analysing the sounds in the words.

Arithmetic

The child is introduced to arithmetic with the help of material, such as number rods, sand paper figures etc., spindle boxes etc. Every material is isolated one concept of mathematics and ensures that the concept is engrained in the child.

Geography

The child is introduced to the globe, map, puzzle to enable the child to understand the shape of the earth, the land and water forms

The child is introduced to the names of various type of birds, animals, plants, vegetables and fruits using pictures, peg boards and puzzles.
